- Since its establishment in 1983, TASA FC has been dedicated to providing soccer opportunities for local and surrounding players at the competitive level. Sanctioned through US Club Soccer as both recreational and competitive, TASA has consistently fostered developmental and mid-level competitive teams with a handful of elite teams. Our vision is to continue to offer playing opportunities for every skill level, from recreational to select.
- For Fall 2024, TASA will introduce elite SELECT teams tailored to players in our surrounding 229 area, who are seeking enhanced competition and development opportunities. These Select teams will be comprised of top players from the 229 area and will compete at the highest level of league play in Florida, as well as participate in premier showcase tournaments across the state. These tournaments will include prestigious events such as the Tampa Bay Super Cup, Weston Cup and Showcase, Rayados Easter International Cup, Dimitri Cup, USA Showcase, and Jacksonville FC Labor Day Shootout.
- Our goal is to give players in the 229 area the same opportunities for growth, competition, exposure, and visibility as those in larger metropolitan areas. 229 SELECT team acceptance or teams for birth year are not guaranteed.
229 Select Teams – New for the 2023-2024 season is our 229 select teams. In our off season players who aspire for the highest level of competition may be chosen for the 229 select team. These teams are comprised of players from TASA and surrounding clubs such as UFA, Florida Elite and Bainbridge SC. 229 select teams will travel to various tournaments where our local players have the opportunity to compete against superior teams from larger metropolitan areas.
