The focus for our high school players is tailored to the tactical side of instruction. Offensive and defensive principles of play are a focal point of training. Training will allow players to perfect their technique in the areas of passing, receiving, and shooting. Emphasis on ball control in small spaces is also a significant part of players development. Other driving attributes of the high school program include motivation, cooperation, commitment, communication, respect and discipline. Physical goals for our high school players include the development of aerobic power, acyclic speed and explosive strength.
Due to Georgia school soccer being a spring sport, the TASA FC academy high school program is a fall season program only. Our fall season is from August – November. High school team training sessions are twice a week for an hour and a half. Our high school academy teams compete in tournaments and friendly games. Game days events are scheduled for at least twice a month.
In order to provide the best environment possible our high school aged players will either play on our u19 or u16 team pending age of interested players.
