To begin with, our TASA FC academy teams are designed to provide each player with a developmentally competitive team environment.  Academy players thrive in an optimal learning environment where they have fun, are guided, and supported.  As individuals and as members of a team, our players are taught how to overcome challenges for ultimate performance.

With this in mind, the TASA FC academy program is designed to develop every player’s soccer skills and ability.  TASA FC academy teams follow the US soccer curriculum.  Our focus is on age appropriate learning within four components:  tactical, technical, physical and psychosocial.  Other topics that are taught include – set pieces, formations and goalkeeping.

TASA FC has boys and girls academy teams for U8, U10, U12, U14 – middle school, U16 – high school and U18 – high school players.  Academy teams train twice a week for an hour and a half.  Our teams compete in tournaments and friendly games averaging 2 game events per month.  The fall season runs from August – November.  It is important to realize that our spring season is for U8 – U12 teams and runs February – April.  U14 middle school teams have what we call our spring “middle school season” which is a six week program from April – May.  What’s more?  We also offer summer camps and winter skill sessions for all ages during our off season.
