Basic life support (BLS) classes are essential for individuals who want to be prepared to provide immediate assistance during emergencies. These classes cover important skills such as cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs). By learning how to perform CPR and operate an AED properly, participants can significantly increase the chances of survival for someone experiencing a cardiac arrest.

This past Saturday our TASA FC coaches and board members were re-certified in BLS. Coaches play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being of their athletes, making it vital for them to stay up-to-date on the latest safety protocols and procedures. TASA FC strives to ensure that our players, coaches, and families are cared for in a safe environment. Prioritizing safety not only protects our athletes but also fosters a positive and supportive sports culture for them to thrive in.

TASA FC would like to thank Jeremy Gagnon for teaching the BLS class and for Archbold Memorial for their support.
