CONGRATULATIONS

TASA FC U14 BOYS

This past weekend, June 15th – 17th, the TASA FC U14 boys team competed in the US Club National Cup Southeast Regional Tournament in Bermuda Run, North Carolina.  It was history in the making for TASA FC as this was the first TASA team to compete in a tournament of this caliber.  The TASA U14 boys, led by Coach Jason Chastain, went undefeated in their 2023/24 I10 Alliance league games.  Their league play accomplishments secured their spot in the Regional Tournament.

In North Carolina the U14 boys lost two games, both against the top two teams in their age division, Chesapeake United SC (Virginia) and FC Athletico (North Carolina) and tied 0-0 against PSL Soccer Club NPL (Florida).   Although the results were not in the boys favor, Coach Jason was still pleased with the boys effort and overall experience “We had a great time in Bermuda Run.  Great facility and we learned a lot.  Even though we didn’t have success in the win column, it was a rounding success for learning and team bonding.  Would do it again in a heartbeat.”

The TASA U14 boys were led by their captains – Jack Chastain, Hardy Harper, Leeland Lamos, JT Mitchell, Jay Stowers and Cody Wehner.  Goals scored in tournament play are as follows:  Brady Hammond – 1, Jay Stowers – 1, and Cody Wehner – 1.  Assists:  Leeland Lamos – 1.

TASA FC is PROUD of our U14 boys team!!!
